Welcome to St. Francis Xavier Parish

Seeds of Faith

We are excited to share our new project with our parishioners.  Fr. Anthony has challenged our school to feed the hungry with our new project, “Seeds of Faith”.

Last month, St. Francis Xavier School received a vertical aeroponic tower garden and our first crop is Green Crisp lettuce variety.  We would like to thank Ton Leylo, for getting us started on our tower garden.   We are now ready to harvest in just one month’s time, and will be partnering with St. Vincent de Paul Society to help feed the needy families in our community.

This tower garden is just the beginning of our Seeds of Faith project.  The children will be planting seeds in their classrooms for our next phase of the Seeds of Faith garden; which will be a great learning experience for them, as well as knowing that they will be helping other children and families enjoy a healthy meal.
