SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
First Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation
The families of those preparing to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion attend at least two consecutive years of faith formation. At the beginning of year two, they attend an additional Sacramental Preparation session one Sunday of each month.
First Reconciliation is celebrated during Lent and First Holy Communion in May. All families involved must be registered members. You may register at the Parish Office or download a registration form.
In order to enrich the sacramental life of the parish and to provide more effective catechesis preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, it will be a two year program. Beginning in grade nine, culminating in the reception of the sacrament at the end of grade ten. Two consecutive years of Faith Formation are required before receiving the Sacrament.
